1-Sided Single Surface Planers

One sided single surface planers are used to size the thickness of material by cutting one face per pass. While most commonly used with wood, planers can be used with several other types of materials. Northtech planers are available in 20-55” and with digital thickness controls. Helical cutterheads provide smooth finishes without the noise of traditional straight knife planers while reducing power consumption. These machines are often core machines to any customer. Most commonly used in thickness sizing operations of wood and plastic parts.
