Routers

Routers are machines with a single spindle and flat worktable design used to shape your part. Routers typically have higher RPM spindles due to the use of smaller diameter tooling which allows them to be used on wood, plastic, acrylic, fiberglass and nonferrous metal parts. Overarm routers are used for profiling or trimming internal and external profiles as the part is manually rotated along a pattern against the tracing pin in the tilt table. Most commonly used in custom woodworking and in finished part cut out operations.
