Shapers

Shapers are machines with a single or double vertical spindle and flat worktable design used to shape your part. Most commonly used for edge work while manually feeding the part against and adjustable fence system, but often fed with a table mounted stock feeder for more consistent feeding. Shapers can have sliding tables for end work as well as tilting spindles for more unique profiles. All Northtech shapers have multi speed spindles for wood, plastic, acrylic, fiberglass and nonferrous metal products. Most commonly a core machine in woodworking operations of all sizes.
